"For 6 years, I struggled in an abusive relationship. Through this, I unfortunately ended up in a women's domestic violence shelter. Something I would've never guessed in a million years would happen to me. But I now want to share my story, because I believe in the stories of people who have faced adversity. I believe in the power of overcoming. I want others to share their voices...and it starts with mine. Here is my personal journey in escaping domestic violence, and overcoming homelessness."
